International Mead Day!
We did a ‘lil something new, and we think you’ll love it. Let us introduce, City Pop, a traditional mead with Haskap berries. Over the past 8+ months a new mead has been cooking-a style totally different from our lower ABV craft meads. Using our stainless steel wine barrels we added nearly 3x the honey normally used in our mead and allowed 6+ month to ferment and condition. Once we felt the base mead was juuuuust right we then blended in…fresh Japanese Haskap berries. The boys rested the mead again for a few months and now BOOOOOM!!! a traditional mead ready to hit your lips this Saturday. Dialing in at 11% ABV and using a fruit fairly rare to ‘Merica is what made this project so much fun. Come enjoy this treat at BOTH locations this Saturday. Made by us, just for you!
